🌱 Local Chef Competes On Netflix Series + Cincinnati Pride Is Hiring

Hey, friends. I’m here right on time with your Wednesday edition of the Cincinnati Daily. Keep reading to find out all the most important things happening in town these days.

But first, today’s weather:

Sunny. High: 58 Low: 31.

Here are the top three stories in Cincinnati today:

  1. If you love the holiday season but are not a fan of malls, never fear. Cincinnati CityBeat has compiled this list of 10 places you can take your kids to see Santa Claus without having to step foot into a mall. These locations can also be great options for children with sensory issues who still want to see Santa. (Cincinnati CityBeat)
  2. A popular Cincinnati chef is heading for Netflix. Christian Gill, best known as the owner of Boomtown Biscuits & Whiskey, will be competing against 12 other chefs in an upcoming cooking competition. “Snack vs. Chef” will pit professional chefs against one another to see who will reign supreme. The winner receives a $50,000 grand prize. You can tune in and cheer Gill on starting Nov. 30. (The Cincinnati Enquirer)
  3. Cincinnati Pride is hiring to fill a new full-time role. The organization — which has been supporting the LGBTQIA for 50 years — is seeking a Director of Development. The position will focus on ensuring that Cincinnati Pride has the financial resources they need to continue its vital efforts. The Director will also work to establish and maintain strong relationships with sponsors. (Cincinnati Pride via Facebook)
